Cooking instructions
Congrats on making your first pasta dish! Now lets finish it! Make sure to have your pre-made or jarred sauce ready.
Bring water to a rolling boil
Generously salt water
Cook 1 ravioli for 2-4 minutes (as a tester); depending on the time, use the same boiling time for the remaining pasta
Use a spider, slotted spoon or spoon to remove from water
Place aside to dry while you make the sauce
For sage butter, melt butter in a sauce pan with a few sage leafs
Once fragrant, add the ravioli directly to the sauce or drizzle the sage butter sauce on the ravioli over a separate plate
If using a tomato sauce, add sauce to pan to bring to temperature and add ravioli (you can even do this directly from the boiling water, remember the boiling water has flour that will thicken your sauce)
Swirl the ravioli in the sauce for a minute until covered and plate
